Do you like exhaust tips that stick out?

Wondering if people think 3rd gens look good with tips sticking out the back or tucked nice underneath the car.

Assuming you mean straight out the back... I like them to stick out a little bit. Like about an inch or so looks good IMO.

I like when they are even with the bumper or tucked under a little. I went with the tucked under on my car.

nope, I think nothing looks worse than 3.5" chrome tips that stick out behind the bumper

Even with the bumper looks perfect. And if your not gonna bother to hang em straight don't put them on!

tips

I only like exhaust tips if the car was factory euipped with them in the first place. I like them hidden on my Iroc, as a matter of fact, when the flowmaster muffler was installed, the shop had to bend up some new 3 inch tailpipes, they are bent just like factory up above the bumper and turn down slightly before the bumper cover and are cut off at a slight angle with no tips, very similar to factory tailpipes only in 3 inch. They are very tough to see, I prefer that. Although about the only tips I have seen that I do like on these third gens are the ones pictured above that resemble early to mid 90's LT-1 Z-28 tips. Again as long as they are installed like above and not sticking out past the bumper. I was at my local muffler shop and they have new ones on the wall just like the LT-1 tips only in stainless steel, looked very good, I was wondering how they would look on the Iroc, now I know, Thanks for those pics, Larry.
