I just wondering if the hooker 2055 headers and y pipe will work with my 6qt moroso pan or will i have to use the stock pan? Anyone using this setup? Thanks

 

What does the pan look like? If it is only deeper and not wider, it won't be a problem.

 

the y pipe definitly DOES NOT FIT!!! i test fitted slp , edelbrock,
and hooker header kits with the moroso 6qt oil pan for 82-92 camaros, none of the ehausts fit !! had to go back to stock oil pan

 

Not Hooker..but my SLP single cat y pipe fits fine with a Moros #20180 6 Qut pan.

 

My SLP system fit great with my Moroso 6qt f-body pan.

 

I HAVE A FRESH NEW 355 IN MY 82 Z -AND ADDED THE MORROSO 6 QUART PAN, ALONG WITH A STILL STOCK MANIFOLDS AND CROSSOVER,----NOW CROSS OVER HITS PAN ON EACH SIDE WHERE IT WRAPS AROUND.------I HAVE A NEW SET OF EDELBROCK TUBULAR HEADERS, BUT DONT WANT TOO TEAR ALL DOWN IF THEY WONT CLEAR OR FIT MY 82, CROSSFIRE.--ANYONE DONE THIS COMBO YET,????-----I HAVE EVERTHING NEEDED TO INSTALL BUT HESITANT TOO TEAR APART----EVEN BOUGHT A NEW GUTTED OUT HEAT RISER FOR DRIVERS SIDE, [CROSSFIRE DONT USE]

 

i have a zz4 short block with afr heads and moroso pan 20182
6 qt for 86 up blocks. i tried slp , edelbrock , and hooker kits
NONE OF THEM FIT!!! i reinstalled the stock pan and used the hookers,sold the slp, buddy of mine used the edelbrocks on his
engine with a 20182 pan BUT had to severly dent and smash the
y pipe to make it fit!!!!
