One might think so. Actually their are a number of companies that make 4" mufflers. If you buy the system from Mufflex you only have a choice of Flowmaster or Spintech. Dynomax and Magnaflow are a couple of others. Allen

Borla makes a 4" muffler, the XR1. Comes in different lengths too.

Are these race style mufflers?
I would preferably like something a little quieter than a bullet muffler.

And I'm having the 4" made, Mufflex is priced retarded.

will running a 4" pipe all the way back cause any ground clearance issues? How does it fit into that tunnel? I ask cause I'm thinking of doing the same thing since it looks a little easier than true duals.

About an inch more than a 3" y-pipe I'm guessing. Actualy I just saw a setup of someones true dual on here who ran both pipes over the axle, near center of the differential, right near the rear. He looked like he had tonnes of clearance. i'm thinking of stealing that setups idea(sorry)

Props to deadbird.

But seriously. How loud are bullet mufflers?

Thats is deadbirds setup. Pretty damn nice, but he had to mod the crossmember to get it to tuck up that tight.

The XR1 is a race muffler so it will be pretty loud, maybe to loud for daily use or long trips.

He had to modify the crossmember? Do you know what he had to do? Did he just notch the side out?
