Replacement Y-pipe

Tried searching, didnt find anything specific to what I'm looking for.

My stock Y-pipe has a huge crack in it from the collector down to the junction on the drivers side. Muffler Man wants $250 for a stock replacement 2.5" inlet Y-pipe, which I think is outrageous myself. Are there any aftermarket Y-pipes that can be had cheaper that work with the stock manifolds? I know that Hooker, Hedman, etc. . . all make Y-pipes, but they all say "made for our headers only".

I traded my small y pipe for a 3" unit off an IROC. I've got a carb'd 305, so I needed the y from a carb'd iroc. I assume a y from a tpi iroc would work for you, but you'd better check.

BTW, the factory iroc y pipe is a fairly nice, stainless steel piece.

I'd hope so, since I have a TPI IROC.

Mine wasnt, thats why it rotted out and split.

If I'm spending $170, it wont be for a stock replacement piece.

SLP also makes a stock replacement y-pipe. For the price that you pay for one of those you are better off saving a little more for a header kit that comes with a new y-pipe.
