I removed the air pump from my car and I'm thinking about cutting off the air tubes on my 2055s before they are installed...what type of caps can i use to cap the ends off?...i want to have them ceramic coated...will i be ok if i cut off the tubes, crimp the ends and send them to be coated?....what is the best steps to take to do this? thanks

 

Cut the tubes off, grind it down, weld the holes shut, grind it down again. And then send them in to be coated.

Nope. Just be careful not to weld to deeply or you will obstruct air flow.

 

Well, that does depend on the welding skills of the person holding the whip.
