Header Question?
I have a chance to buy a new set edlelbrock ceramic coated headers really cheap. They will be going on a 92Z28/TPI/305. I'm pretty sure the ports on my heads are square, but the headers are oval. Will they still work ok or should I pass? They came from summit racing part number EDL-68722. They are brand new, never used and he only wants $150.

It's not listed to fit the year of your car, which leads me to believe it's about the CAT. That header is only designed for a single CAT, while I imagine you have dual CATS. Easiest way would be just to look under the passenger side at the CATs. It would take a little effort but you could probably have a muffler shop make you the correct extensions.
For $150 if they really are ceramic coated go for it! Even if it doesn't work out, you could still ebay those off or sell them here and double your money.

I just have the single CAT and I checked the y-pipe of the new headers and its a perfect fit.

$150!!!!! The coating is worth that much. The headers retail for $450. It's a great buy. They will fit your car.
I see that you have an aftermarket catback system, but do you have the original cat? GM used a 2 1/4" catalytic converter on the '91-'92 SD TPI 305's. I would replace the cat with a 3" one if you are adding headers.
Of course going from the the 2.5" collector on the Edelbrocks to the 2.25" cat to is not as bad as it would be with SLP's 3" collector. You won't need a reducer with the Edelbrocks.
