Does anyone know if anyone sells a muffler for a 86 camaro that has stock inlet ( I believe its 2 1/2 inch ) then 3 1/2 or even 4 inch dual outlets coming out. Thanks.

If it existed, it wouldn't be for the sake of performance. Dual 3-1/2" or 4" tailpipes is fart can stuff, for image only.

You are most likely going to have to take it to a muffler shop and have them weld the tips on. There are no mufflers for our cars with that big of tips if I recall correctly.

Yeah that's a custom job. you can get BIG tips welded on it you want. I have huge rectangle tips that fit in my bumper grooves perfectly.

I won't say 4 inch outlets are for image alone, but you would need to be getting at LEAST 500 horsepower (at the rear wheels) out of your engine to be close to NEEDING them. (Probably more like 1,000 hp.) You would have to be running what is essentially a race car on the street to need rear exhaust pipes and tips like that. If you are thinking about just putting those huge tips on your 86 Camaro, PLEASE DON'T. (PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, Pleeaassee don't.) They look like CRAP! If you MUST, put them on one of those japanese imports, they don't look good to start with, so not much harm done.

I think the fact that he's using the stock 2.5" I pipe means he's not going to gain anything with 4" tailpipes.

That's amazing!!!! I know nothing about engines but I doubt thats street legal: reverse may be important, and I'd think it may put alot of heat out for any car behind you. I wonder if it has an afterburner.

lmao i love the MR2. i dont see the need in the 4" outlets. you could get the 3" outlets, and just run a 4" tip on it, i think that would be your best bet. why DO you want a 4" out?

and yes, not all imports are ricers...those are the examples of the nice ones (when not riced out of course)

It is for image alone if everything in front of the muffler is stock, regardless of engine output.
