Exhaust Tip Suggestions
I have my new Hooker exhaust system(16823hkr) sitting in the garage waiting to be put on next week. The only thing is, I hate the way the tips that came with the system look and have been searching for different tips to put on, but actual threads on exhaust tips are quite rare. So my question to you guys is, what tips do you have/suggest?

I recently swapped in the Hooker cat back myself. I too didn't like the looks of the Hooker tail pipes and tips, so I simply reused my stock tail pipes--but then again, I prefer the stock look.

I have the hooker too, and I don't like the tips. After searching all the big exhaust names, I finally found what I wanted at Pep Boys.

Consider some stock tailpipes for that stealth look. I realize it goes against the current trend of having a round exhaust tip of about 5 inches, but you have a good looking car (1992 Firebird)and don't need to try to get attention with exhaust tips. Maybe even go oldschool, and get some chrome tips made that look like the old 1979 Trans Am tips. (Just a thought)

That's what I'm talking about! (Nice '79 T/A, by the way. I used to have a '79 Formula. 301 with 1 4bbl carb. Averaged about 20 mpg back between '85 and '92. Traded it in on my '92 Formula when the rear main oil seal went.)

I like the look of the second gen tips a lot. I also have been condsidering the 4th gen camaro ss rectangular ones. Right now, I'm just not running tips, and it actually looks kinda good to me, haha.
