New to site just need a few questions answered
Ok well i know searching for some of these answers would be a little easier but i was just wondering a few things first off
I have a 89 firebird formula 350TPI with single cat
i have heard that you have to fab a y pipe if you have long tube headers, is this true or does someone make a y pipe to work with long tube headers...If not is it at all possile to not worry about the y pipe and go with making it daul all the back (or would that not fit?)
second is what combo sounds best? money is no problem so whatever
right now i was think of going with hooker headers, not sure what y pipe and i was thinking Borla for mufflers, i dono if im going to put a cat back on or not. i live in michigan and i have never had to take an emissions test
Any help anyone?

you can buy a y pipe for lt at http://www.mufflex-performance.com/home.html
if money is no problem get the headers and y ceramic coated. at least get the headers coated. that setup would be fine its really up to you on what you want to put in your car. borla is a good chioce because its stainless steel with the header and y coated your exhaust would last a very long time. you get what you pay for.
