I haven't read anything good about edelbrock headers, but found some for a good price, just tryin to see if anyone who has or does own them has had any good experiances with them. Summit Part # EDL-68723

I went 12.22 @ 111 mph with a set of Edelbrock shorties on. Yeah their y-pipe sucks (or the one I had did) but they're better than running manifolds. Never had any problems with them myself.
very good headers for the money. provides a noticeable power increase... a little hard to install on the passenger side though. Ti tech coating does its job on the headers, but slight surface rust will form on the y pipe
they are good headers for a first timer because you wont notice the scratches you will get on them while installing. 3rd spark plug from the front on the drivers side will be impossible to remove unless you modify a spark plug socket. put in the spark plugs before you bolt on the headers.

They are a VERY big improvement over the cast iron manifolds GM blessed your car with... just by comparison to other headers, like Hedman, Hooker, SLP, etc, they aren't as good.

I just installed the edelbrock ceramic coated headers this summer I got from summit racing. The install wasn't bad. The thing I liked about them was that everthing came with them. I didn't have to go out and buy anything else to install them. I also use the stock spark plugs with them. Changing the spark plugs really isn't any harder than it was with the stock manifolds. I did have to use the spark plug socket and a wrench on a couple, but atleast I don't have to get under the car anymore to change them.
I had the edlebrock shorties big improvement over stock but the y pipe is terrible. had to have an exhaust shop chop it up and reweld it to fit around oilpan. A month or two ago the collector welds cracked on the inside of the collector. I bought some headman full lengths and could not be happier. If your putting headers on a blown 350 I would think your best bet is the full length hooker or headmans.

Good post here on the TES. Have mine on the 88 for six months now, well satisfied so far.
