Dynomax cat question

Jegs has a direct fit Dynomax super converter for my camaro for just over $100.

If my stock 1989 converter is a honeycomb type, will I see any improvement with the Dynomax job?

Is there a better direct fit converter than the Dynomax?

I'm putting headers on and want to get the most out of them.

Thanks.

If it's a direct replacement for the factory cat, you might need a reducer to mate it to the y-pipe/catback, depending on which headers/catback you get.

I think the best idea would be to find a 3" high flow cat mated to a good 3" y-pipe and a 3" catback. All the factory restrictions are eliminated in that setup.
