Converters are a joke
Ok well I want a 3" Dynomax catback that I can just bolt in with no welding involved. I have searched for the 3" catback in summit and jegs and just cant find it (If anybody knows the part number or where to get it please let me know). But I have been thinking and realized that since its a TBI and wont haved much done for a while, I can settle for the 2.5" catback. Ok what is required converter-wise to put it on? Will my stock one bolt to the catback? Also if I have to get a new cat, where can I get one with a 2.25" inlet and 2.5" outlet...all the ones I have seen seem to be the same in and out. Any help from you guys would make me really thankful. Thanks guys.

You can buy small adapter rings that will work for just that... if you want to slip a 2.5" pipe over a 2.25" pipe, you slide this ring over the smaller pipe, and put the bigger pipe over it. Its basically a spacer. You use an exhaust clamp to hold it together. Worked nice on my cousins exhaust when we had 2.25" pipes and wanted to use 2.5" cutouts.

I've seen them at all the basic parts stores... Canadian Tire, Autozone, places like that.
Look in the exhaust section, where the sell the chunks of pipe, clamps, etc... it will be about 1.5" wide, have a split at one part (so it can be squeezed by the clamp) and quite thick... you'll know it when you see it.
