Dual Exaust Question
Ok i have an 83 camaro z-28 305 lg4 v8. My exaust is completely rusted out and i need a new cat. I have been trying to find good headers for my car and have always wanted to run a dual exaust. When i started asking around the only responses i was getting from everyone was that it was impossible to run a dual exaust with dual cats on an 83 camaro due to space issues. Is this true or not. Also are there any recomendations on good headers for my carbed car? thx

Good headers for dual cats - Hedman 68491. Just like factory dual cats offered in later years. Now, dual the rest of the way back the factory never did, so if you want that, you're up against custom fabrication and probably reduced ground clearance.
Now, for an LG4, Hooker 2055's with a single 3" cat (direct fit model for '86-'90 TPI single cat application) and a good 3" cat back will be more than enough for a lot more engine than you have now. More than enough for what I had 6 months ago. Enough for what I've got now.
