Question about Ypipe

I have a set of Hooker 2460 headers I got from Jet Hot several years ago and never got around to using.

(see HOK-2460-1HKR at summit)

I don't, however, have a ypipe.

Is there something out there that would work with these?

If not, are there any kits or make your own?

If not, is my only option a custom one?

I have a leftover y-pipe from my Edelbrock header install. i run dual cats so i din't need it. I believe it's a 3" outlet and 2 2 1/2" inlets. I may consider selling if you're in a bind.

I'm in Richmond BTW.

Do you have a picture? Does it bolt to the headers or is it slip on or is it something else?

I believe Hooker actually sells a y-pipe seperately from these headers now. That would probably be the fastest and easiest way to get them working, but not necessarily the cheapest.

Here is a Custome Y-Pipe that I had made locally. It will connect to Hooker 2460 Headers I just sold. It is 2 1/2 inlet and 3" outlet that connect to a Hooker Catback system. The Y-Collector is a Flowmaster 2 1/2 in. & 3" out.
Let me know if you are interested....$75.00

Is this what you're talking about?

16767HKR
"Y–Pipe–mid length, for part numbers: 2460HKR, 2460–1HKR and 2460–2HKR only, 82–92 Camaro: 265–400, aluminized steel"

Why in the world would it go from 3" to 2.5"? Isn't that counterproductive?

They have 3" to 2 1/2 reducer on each flange.

Ok, sounds good, price is good, I'm going to consider it. What would shipping be, ~$20?

Does anyone know if this summit part is bent to fit firebirds? It says "no" for universal application.

At the bottom of the page, you'll see "check to make sure this part fits your application". Plug in your car's specs and ye shall see.

A few posts above, you'll see I said that it says "NO" for universal application...and not just for my car, it says no for all 4 listings that I see. That's why I asked...maybe someone has used one.
