What plug wires with Hooker Comps??

Those of you running Hooker Comps what plug wires are you using? I noticed that the 3rd plug back on the 90 Firebird takes a straight boot wire....well they will no longer work they must me 90 degree boots.....I ordered in some Mallory wires just to find OEM style..... Please help!

P.S. Heads have straight in plugs not angled....

I have accel wires with 90 deg boots and standard A/C plugs. Little tight around the primaries but they clear ok. Also make sure to get a set of crimpers and dies if needed. Makes it MUCH easier and faster to set up the wires. Ive done it with pliers and screw drivers but it takes awhile to get them crimped that way. With a set of MSD crimpers, I get better then factory crimps in under a few seconds.

Any good set of 8mm wires with 90 deg boots will work. The problem with Heades is the closeness of the pipes to the boots (not the wires) that burn though and result in problems. I solved this by using the LT1 metal 90 deg shields on the boots. Available at the dealer for about $1.50 each.

I'm partial to Moroso wires. I use them with the Moroso sleeve kit and run them under the headers. Get the cut to fit kit and run them nice and tight to the heads.
