I have heard differant things regaurding the use of starters with the 2210 headers. Do you have to use a mini starter, or will the stock style work ok? If you have to use a mini, any suggestions?
thanks.

stock starter will fit. I switch to a jegs gear reduction starter when I installed t-56 and it fits tighter than the large stock style starter did

I'm using a stock-size starter; no gaurantees on how long before it "bakes " though.
I've heard some guys making heat-sheilds to go around them. The smaller starters make life a little easier if you have to change one out.

a clockable mini starter.
facing the solenoid towards the bottom has always been the best fitment, IMO.
ive done a few of them.
