Header Gasket
I am thinking about to put headers onto my 305. Exhaust leaks are my biggest fears when it comes to exhaust.
I have been told that if you just run into a parts store and buy headers gaskets that they will just blow out and leak. So my question to you guys is, would I just want to go with felpro gaskets OR would I want the expensive copper ones?

I switched to Percy's dead soft gaskets a few years back. A little expensive at about $35 but worth it IMHO. Copper should be fine too.
Don't use the paper style, when they leak and you have to replace them, it's a PITA to scrape the remnants off the heads.

I dont care for the coppers they tend to break apart if a few bolts come loose. Ive use the dead soft aluminum gaskets with very good results for years. Perecy or Flowtech gaskets either one will work since they are the same.
