Header & duals question

I believe ive got the hedman shorties, just a question though i want to run 3"
duals with an xpipe but before doing this do your headers determine the diameter of exhaust you can run? If not then good if so then what do i need to do to run that exhaust setup? newbie so any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

With shorties, your looking at alot of time contemplating on how you are gonna have the pipes rigged to come from the shorties. Collectors come in various sizes and most shops can flang pipes to accept bigger exhaust.

You have the edelbrock shorty's I just removed the AIR tubes and welded them shut. It also has a carsound(?) high flow cat and 3" pipe over the rear to the flowmaster

Shorties make running duals tucked just as easy, if not, easier than using long tubes.
People that have never made exhaust will say it can't be done, will sacrifice ground clearance or, it's too difficult to be worth it.

It isn't... if you can fab.

Start with checking out the dual exhaust sticky.. good stuff..
