I havent heard much good about the edelbrock headers for our cars. Supposedly they leak and the TI tech coating is junk. The hooker 2055's flow very well and a lot of people own, and like them

A couple of years ago Chevy High Performance magazine dyno'd the 350 they built for their "My Generation Camaro" 3rd gen using a set of TES with a 3" muffler where the cat goes. It pulled 385 HP.
The actual headers for their car were the LG4 version which retained the EFE valve (this was a California legal build). Although they didn't put it on a chassis dyno, the drag strip results were rather disappointing, indicating a significant decrease in apparent available power.
Moral of the story: Not all TES are created equal. The L69 and LB9/L98 versions seem to be okay, but the LG4 & LO3 systems retain all of the restrictions of the stock exhaust.
I'd still go with a user-modified set of 2055's (you can search for threads I've posted in the past about that) which are then Jet Hot coated.

The Edelbrock headers are great for "100% specific applications". They are also perfect for people who want to say they have headers but don't care about the bets performance (not saying that is a bad thing per se). However, they leave a lot of performance out of the equation (as Five hinted). If one is to spend a lot of money on headers they want to alleviate all restrictions of the stock manifolds and y-pipe. The Edelbrock’s only alleviate a few flaws of the stock set-up. The Hooker 2055's are the perfect example of a header you should consider.
