X-Pipe clearance Question

I'm running Hooker LT's, no cats, 3" duals dumping before the rear axle. Just wondering if a 3" X-pipe kit is viable. I'm concerned with clearance issues. Wanted to know if any of you guys are running this way and how clearance is.
TIA

If you're putting mufflers before the axle, there probably isn't enough room for an X pipe. It would have to go pretty much under the transmission, and that wouldn't leave you with a lot of ground clearance.

So.........what I'm hearing is that if I have the x pipe just behing the tail of the tranny, I won't have room for 16" long mufflers before the rear axle? The driveshaft is 41", so it would seem like there would be room. Maybe I'm not quite understanding how much space (length) a universal x pipe kit would require. Any help appreciated.
