Truck Headers?

I am wondering if it is possible to run truck headers. The 87-95 5.0/5.7L shoty headers seem like they would fit no problem. I might have to build a custom y-pipe, but that is no problem. I have seen some good deals on truck headers and wonder if they could work?

Save your money for f-body headers. I am pretty sure truck headers will not clear the firewall. Making them fit isn't worth the effort and fab work. You can't cheap out on headers for these cars. Crappy (ie cheap) headers will always come back to haunt you.
