Cat question
I have emissions equipment and am NOT looking to remove so
What works better with the computer and emissions
1) High flow cat with the air tube
2) Pipe with the air tube welded on
Stock 305 TBI with hooker LTs into a Y
Doin my research before I run into problems

HF cat or pipe
If your car doesn't have an aft O2 sensor, your ECM doesn't know if you have a cat or not. If you want to keep you car emission legal, go with a high flow cat with an A.I.R. tube.
If you don't want to spend the extra money on the high flow cat, and don't have to pass a visual emissions test, then strait pipe it. You can weld a fitting on the pipe anywhere you like for the A.I.R. tube to tie in. You may still pass the sniffer test, even without a cat.
