i have a 91 firebird that was originally a 305 tbi.ive since put in a carbed 350 bored .060 over, vortec heads 2.02 1.60 valves, medium sized comp cam, shorty headers.and going to put an edelbrock 750 on it next week.my problem is i have to move out of the house then and cant afford to get a full 3" exhaust system.i can only afford to get what i already have hooked back up,which is stock piping,no cat,and a dual outlet flowmaster.will this hurt my motor?i know i will get a performance loss but i really need to get this thing back on the road.also whenever i do put a full 3" slp loudmouth with no cats will i have to retune the carb?

It will choke and restrict like crazy but I doubt it will actually hurt the motor

I ran a FM 3" system on my 436 for two years. All it did was restrict the power output. After the 4" install, it picked up big time.

Won't hurt a thing. As was said above when money becomes available that should be number one on your list for the car. You will see a nice horsepower gain.
