89 rs stock replacement muffler ?
Ok guys, I brought my $500 RS home this weekend, but in order to get it street legal I am going to have to pass an emission test. the stock muffler is too rotted to make it. I was hoping to use the pipes and manifolds I have for now and just replace the muffler. is there a performance setup I can install now and use with a real exhaust later ? what would you guys recomend to get me going with as little trouble as possible ?

you could use the flowmaster cat back exaust, summit part number

I have a flow master from an 305TBI 89 RS Conv Camaro. Muffler and tail pipes are fine. It sounds good. The pipes coming in were rusted and I replaced all of it with a 3" system. Will sell muffler and tail pipes for $15 plus shipping. I also have a few cats. One with catylist in great shape (500miles) high flow stock from 95Z28. One 3" from 89' exhaust system half of the catylist is destroyed.
