New sound clip after headers.

I just installed my edelbrocks and thought I'd share a sound clip.It sounds meaner than it is and I like the power increase too.It is TES headers and Y pipe, dynomax cat, stock I pipe and 80 series flowmaster.

I don't even know if I wanna say.It only ran a 15.6 with a loose intake(bolts were hand tight and I had oil and coolant on the base, fixed now).It was chugging and the engine was shaking bad when I brought my rpm's up.I only pulled a 2.0 or 2.1 60 ft.

There are a lot of gear heads in my nieghborhood so I'm ok.
It's actually the stock I pipe with an 80 series flowmaster and a 3 inch dynomax cat.I had an american thunder on my 87 and it was toned down a lot.

I'm pretty much running the same thing (except for headers) as 87tpi. Soon as my motor is built I will have a bullet instead of that 80 series and I'll headers as well. I still like the sound of the 80 series but my bullet should be awesome. Why so high with the 1/4? I see you have the block bored but nothing done to the heads?

I have no idea why it was so high other than the problems I mentioned above. It was running like crap and it was in the 90's outside.I should be able to hit a high 14 but we'll see next time out.It was rebuilt and bored by the previous owner and nothing was done to the heads.I think I'm gonna throw a cam in and see if it helps any.

Yeah seems really high for what's been done. Oh well, should be good after a clean up and cam. I'm using an LT1 cam in my LB9 with 1.6 rockers, ported 081 heads, etc. All of my mods on are on domain site (click signature). No times yet but it should be a decent runner. I'm hoping for 13's.

Anything done to the tranny?

I haven't heard it run yet, lol! From what I've been told and read, it should be a good cam for what I plan on doing to the motor. Nothing to extreme but good enough for those ported heads. I think I could have gone bigger but I got the cam for free so yah can't go wrong. The specs are like .477/.489 if I remember correctly. Thats with 1.6 rockers. Hopefully this saturday I'll be bale to hear it run. I just finished painting my runners and headers too.
