edelbrock makes an emissions compliant header setup for our car thats a direct bolt on and comes with the y-pipe, air pipes etc. Its called edelbrock TES(tubular exhaust system) headers, they have decent flow and they are 1 5/8 in size.

Edelbrock stinks, they're the worst design in my opinion.
Do a search on this forum for headers and you'll find more info then you ever wanted. The Hooker 2055's are the most popular.

i think ether would be verey nice. the only thing i see with the SLPs are that they a shorter than the Hookers. now, i dont know how much that changes the power curve.

well actually, i looked them up, and since i got a 92, the 2055s dont fit my car, you got to get the 2055-1s or something, and they are like 850 bucks or so on the net, and the slps are only 720...and they come with the pipes that go around the bottem by the bell housing...but man if you see a better price... tell me because i am 17 and broke

2055-1HKR's are $750 from summitracing.com . They will fit a '92 if you go with single 3" cat. The Hooker y-pipe is clearly superior to the SLP, since it is 3" after the two banks come together, but the SLP is only 2-1/2".
If you're broke, how do you plan on accomplishing this little project?
