what is the whold deal with the tuned option that you can get on your headers. Is it such a bad thing that they arent tuned, at least for my application, a headers is headers especially since i got away from the stock manifolds.

In serious race applications they will experiment with different length tubes, collector sizes, collector length, stepped tubes ect...to get every last .1 HP they can out of a combo on a dyno. The average street car or even bracket racer would never see enough difference to make it worth while. Most people are just happy to get their headers to fit on a street car. Choose the best off the shelf headers for your application and you'll be fine.
