Should I Remove It???

Hi People...

I just installed the Magnaflow muffler P/N 12266 on my stock exhaust system L03, RS 92. The thing is that i feel the difference on the foot but the sound is pretty the same and I wanna be a little nosy (real muscle car sound) I thought I could find it with this muffler alone.
I live in venezuela so I remove the Cat a couple of years ago and put a resonator on its place, do you think I have to remove it to get a better sound?? I'd appreciate some help I'm not an exhaust scientist...
Thanks!

May the force be with you!!

save the tail pipes. get a piece of (what ever diameter the the tail pipes will fit over) straight pipe. get a elbow and cut a hole in the straight pipe. make yourself a muffler eliminator and sell your muffler to me! thats what id do.

LMAO. Thats funny whats written above. But um....how much you want to spend. Do you have e-checks or anything where you would need a full exhaust. Because I recommend this after the y-pipe or after your cat. ANYWHERE YOU WANT IT JUST CUT...WELD. AND VWALA.

http://www.quicktimeperformance.com/QTEC/index.php

There like $150 and if you put it right after the y-pipe (you can get it to hook up to stock exhaust and cat size) then you will have TRUE MUSCLE CAR SOUND

Now all you need is some headers and a y-pipe and the cutouts and now you have a beefy son of a bitch. This is what I want to do. But I am buying all Hooker exhaust components....headers-back. Except for a random tech hi-flow cat

Axle/Gears: bunch of 10 bolts how scary is that
Personal experiance a wide open stock manifold L03 sounds like crap. Please don't do it. Buy yourself some headers, run a high flow cat, and no muffler. I have had worked on alot of TBI cars exhaust and no matter what you do on the stock manifolds they sound like crap.

I would and did go with edelbrock headers and 80 series catback from flowmaster. Cut out the resonator/cat converter and install just a pipe. Will shake the windows of ricers you pass. Or just straight pipe it lol

Try it without the resonator first and go from there.
