anyone running stahl headers, either the street or drag versions?
was just checking out their site, they have stepped street headers in a couple sizes and the same with the drag versions. anone running em? pics of the install? it says on the site the drag race ones have pipes that cut into the fender well, how big of a problem would that be on the tires?

what don't you call Ed Quay. he is a super stock 3rd gen guy who builds headers for our cars. If you want excellent quailty and half the price of Lemons or Stahl give him a call. He makes 1 3/4 stepped or what ever tubes you want. They all fit within the stock k member. My headers cost me 700.00 and they are 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8.

I had called Ed Quay, Stahl, Hustler (headman's race shop), Hooker, SLP, Flowtech, but they did not have anything that would work for my application. Most of the stuff (Ed Quay & Stahl) is for drag racing and the super stock cars are usually really high in the front end. The headers that they sell hang really low and not good for street use and or a lowered car.
Trust me I did not want to fork out $1800.00 for a set of custom headers but realy glad with how the whole project is coming out. My headers are only 1" lower then the frame rails and the transmission in the lowest part in my car.
It would be great f someone sole a nice large tube LT for our cars that was not in the weeds.

mine is a street car more than strip. Once the headers arrive i'll post pic's. The guys at Ed Quay told me mine will work good on the street with no issues on clearance. My Hooker LT's never hit the ground either. They tucked up well. When I looked at all three companies and seen some of ed Quays work I figured $4-900 savings was a good bargain.
