Getting muffler shop to build an exhaust like the slp loudmouth, but I don't know which muffler to use. I want something loud but not sounding like open headers. If I do the exhaust will it sound louder than the Flowmaster 80 series I have on my car now.

 

the loud mouth is pretty much just a bullet muffler and is loud as hell if you want loud but dont want a bullet type muffler take a look at the 1 chamber flowmasters loud and deep that is what im thinking about useing when i take off my hooker exhaust and make a borla setup on my gta

 

go with a magnaflow muffler. they sound wicked, deep throaty tone.

 

i would check in to see if you cna't use the SLP loudmouth muffler? last time i checked it was only like $80

 

ive been thinkin about doin a similar setup and i was thinkin a single borla 3" in/outjust before the axle, but i cant seem to find that particular muffler. i also thought about the moroso spiral flow, but i think that would be way too loud. i also think the borla might be too loud because my friend has a 94 cobra with borla cat back and off road x pipe and it is very loud. and that is with 2 mufflers.

maybe a single borla before the axle and a bullet in each tailpipe?
