The mufflax system was great when i had it you should be very happy with it
I built my own 4" system with a spintech stainless steel muffler. If you look down the thread (my exhaust picture) you can see some pictures of my exhaust in the works. I wanted to purchase the Mufflex system but my car was not a "cat back" and did not want to spend the extra money for a bunch of stuff I was not going to use and have to rework. I ended up just building mine from u-bends and straight tubing.
Let me know how yours fits and can't wait to see some pictures.

Sweet! Thats the same system Im getting. Did you get the single out or the crossflow muffler? Im liking the single 4" out.

Yea I opted for the single out to. I figured that it will be hidden and I like that look better than pipes sticking out.Originally Posted by Randy92Z

Yeah i have the 3.5" mufflex, with the single out spintech. I really like the hidden tail pipe. You can still see it though from behind. Looks kinda stock just a lot bigger lol. I never really found any other tail pipes that looked right long term.
You will love the sound has a nice deep bass to it at idle. The sound is not to loud or to quite just right to me. The quality of the pipes and muffler is very good. Although there not stainless the metal is pretty thick.

1 piece was back ordered, so they said it should be at my doorstep on Friday.
I know its been awhile but I just thought I would update this thread. I should have my exhaust done by monday or tuesday and then I will post pics of the new system.

Can't wait to see the pics. Going to do the same as Comp778 and build my own 4 inch system using a Spintech muffler. Really liked the sound of my old single 3 inch with the Pro Shootout muffler. The dual 3 inch bullets right now are just too freakin loud.

So which spintech muffler did you go with? The street version or the race? How loud is it compared to the old setup? Sounds good

How much ground clearence did you have with the duals and did you lose any with the 4 inch pipe?

Can't tell you which Spintech muffler it is because it came with the mufflex kit and they don't list a part number just for the muffler.Originally Posted by EvilCartman

I actually had pretty good ground clearence with the true duals, not as good as a single exhaust but pretty damn good. The 4 inch is also really good clearence.Originally Posted by ws6gta89

Awesome, is that the mufflex Y pipe?
Now that I am looking I am pretty certain it is not... What is the lowest part of the exhaust?

No thats all custom made. Custom pipes from the headers to the catback.Originally Posted by unknown_host

Its actually hard to see but the exhaust is almost even with the spohn torque arm.

Wow t thought you would have been lower but that looks good and sounds alot better than the duals they were to raspy but i think they would have sounded alot better with an x-pipe

is your car lowed at all? hows the room over the axle?
Quote:
Nope its at stock ride height. The over the axle pipe is close, so I don't think you could go any bigger than 4inch.Originally Posted by BulliTooth

hmm my car is lowerd with eiback sportlines and im kinda worried how much room i would have over the axle.
