SLP header gaskets?

I recently replaced my SLP gaskets with FelPro gaskets. The header flange gaskets from SLP were literally blown out. The SLP gaskets are really a poor design. The donut gaskets were also FelPro for a mid 70s Chevy pickup with a 350 and 2 1/4 pipe they were iron donuts as opposed to the junky graphite crap SLP provides. My parts guy fitted the collector gaskets for me.

I use Percy's dead soft aluminum gaskets they match up to my headers just fine and don't blow out.

Yeah that is a good choice. I should have used them but did not think about them at the time although the FelPro's have held up very well. In fact my Blazer has a set that have been there for 6 years, no trouble. Still he needs to get rid of the leaky graphite donut gaskets. Does anyone else make a better gasket than the FelPro iron donuts?
