Flowmaster Force II Tail Pipe...

So this is a "hidden" exhaust... the muffler that is one 1 and 1 out...
Anyone have any pics... I have this system in the box, just wondering where the tail pipe will sit... If I need to have it shortened, etc...

Also considering painting just the tail pipe with engine black paint, I want it truly hidden, I don't want to see a silver exhaust or pipe from the rear under my car...

Thanks,

Raf

I have some pics from behind on my car, but you can't see the tailpipe. There will be no need to cut it at all, it tucks up nicely right before the impact bar. I have mine painted silver and it is still very hard to see at ride height.

Should be nearly invisible then. I have the small GFX on my car as it is an '82 and you can't see the tailpipe.. plus it can be rotated up pretty high keeping it out of sight.

If this is a hiden exhaust and ends just before the impact bar.......Doesn't the exhaust heat and, If any soot or smoke get into the interior or onto rear fascia?

It does not get into the interior, yes there tends to be a small build up of "soot" on the very bottom of the bumper. Cleaned often it is not a problem.

The pipe curves and bends down.

I have a couple inches vertical clearance between the bumper and exhaust pipe outlet, it's adjustable. no soot buildup. I painted the exhaust tip and muffler flat black with DEI high-temp paint. maintain the sleeper appearance. pretty subtle until you start up the motor, or put your foot into it.

I had to cut a couple slots into the muffler inlet pipe to get it to cinch up tight, otherwise the muffler and exhaust tip rotated down.
