thanks.
I just wish my car was little bit faster.
I have to fix my clutch or trans, as I can't shift fast, feels like the clutch doesn't disengage all the way and the trans won't let me into gear, you have to use a quite a bit of force sometimes..

Re: [VID] Borla (fully open), Hooker Headers, ORY
thanks for the props.
I am almost sure my TO bearing is toast, debating on putting in the spare used clutch kit I have, or just a new TO bearing, or a completely new clutch kit with new TO bearing.

you try bleeding the master cylinder? or is it mechanical? you shouldnt have to replace a whole clutch assembly.. i would just throw a new clutch in along with a TO and a pilot... I had the same problem with my car when i first bought it... but the car was sitting for quite a while... the linkage was a little sticky... i couldnt get the car into first or reverse unless i jammed it in to gear... but it was all tranny had nothing to do with the clutch. i hope you figure it out. good luck!

Well, the clutch is probably worn and the flywheel probably has a bunch of hot spots in it, the car will shudder when I downshift.
I am going to yank it apart tomorrow and take a look, and maybe I'll just slap in my extra clutch/flywheel setup that came off of my 90.
I'll also bleed the hydraulics just to make sure that that portion is working 100%.

it's not that bad. when it is cold outside and the windows are up and the radio is on, you can't really hear it unless you are over 3500rpm.

I've been reading all the posts trying to see what various people have done to get true duals on their cars. Seems like the subframe must be notched to get it done--Correct? Also one post who had duals was planning on notching his floorpan to raise his mufflers to gain ground clearance--anyone done that?? I'm intending on installing a full 3inch dual exhaust in an 89.
