I installed this Jegs catback kit on my 84 L69 Z about 6 months ago when I first got my car and needed a quick pipe/muffler replacement. Install was pretty straightforward although the over axle pipe vibrates against the rear chassis brace above the panhard bar. (You have to lower the chassis brace to get the pipe over the axle.) Part quality seemed pretty good for a relatively low cost set up. I also had to trim the tailpipes to even out the length. It's quieter than I expected.

Get the 16823 I did, My MPG went down, Cause I drive in 3rd gear everywhere to hear that Awesome rumble.... its perfect. (I Believe so)

 

I have had the jegs cat back on my car and had no problems with it except like someone else said the tail pipes were not completley even, sounds great and low cost
