What about them? They're generic block-huggers.

They're ceramic coated, yes. Don't know what you mean by "original" though.

Re: Does somebody know this headers?

original manifold
because I have a 82 TA with a 305 carb
I bought cylinders head Vortec, A comp cams XE262H-10, an exhaust system (this one http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku) and I would like to buy new headers and pipe before the cat. But there is a lot of headers. I don't want a lot of more HP but just good ceramic coated headers. And this one are cheap but they are good ?

Re: Does somebody know this headers?

im pretty sure the block hugger headers wont fit your car. i go with hooker 2460s and ypipe 16767hkr.

Re: Does somebody know this headers?

They won't fit your car. You'll need headers made specifically to fit an 82-92 F-body.

Re: Does somebody know this headers?

I dont think the headers above will fit a third gen and the cat back is a 2.5".
If you read the treads on top you will find what you need.

Re: Does somebody know this headers?

27% horsepower increase? That would be over 50hp in a stock TPI. Is that a plausible claim because that seems like a huge increase.

Re: Does somebody know this headers?

Ok it says you can get that. But if you really get technical there is no true power. It always has something that is degraded. LIke if you have a stock engine saying it has 300 horses its only actually estimate putting out 240 true horse power. Thats an estimate you have to figure it out with math to find true horsepower you're engine is getting don't get me wrong what you do to improve horsepower will improve the true horsepower.
