Will Edelbrock's TES bolt to my Magnaflow cat?
According to the previous owner of my car, I have a Magnaflow cat and catback that he installed on my car before he traded it in. Looking at the cat, I really don't know what an OEM cat looked like so I assume he did what he said. With that being said, if I have my shop install the TES on my car, what problems do I need to address before they do it? I work for a new car Chrysler dealer, so I get a major discount on labor and some of these guys are former GM techs...but if they have issues with fitment, my price is gonna go up significantly...
Any help is sincerely appreciated!
Also, if I did SLP headers, will those bolt to this cat? I read I need a 45 degree adapter...this is available from SLP I assume?

The TES will hook up to the cat if the headers and cat are for the same application. Otherwise, modification required.
The SLP's will fit only if the cat is not for your application.

Re: Will Edelbrock's TES bolt to my Magnaflow cat?
Well, I assume he ordered a cat for a single cat '91 305 Camaro, so I should be safe with that route...
As for the SLP, I don't understand what you mean by they'll fit only if the cat is NOT for my application...do I need a more universal cat or something? Thanks...

I mean SLP only makes them for the larger exhaust. If you get a direct-fit '86-'90 TPI single cat, then the SLP's will fit it.
