Buddy and I tackled installing my new headers. They are Hooker Shorties with 1 5/8 primaries and 3" collectors. Sounds awesome. Here are some pics.




Got the job done in a couple hours. That included many beers, eating dinner and shooting the **** about our cars. Probably the best time I've had installing headers.

 

I have the same headers on my car.. they work pretty well except I had to make a little clearance on the driverside for the flange..

 

Worst we had to do was remove the steering shaft but other than that, was pretty simple, almost too simple. Was expecting something to go wrong but nothing ever did. Happy with the way it turned out.
