Hedman LT install
I'm having problems getting my headers bolts on. I can get 5 out of 6 however there is always one on both sides that wants to go in angled. Its the 2nd bolt (back one) on #1 port & #2 port. If I put that bolt in first then the #7 & #8 will have the same problem with their bolts. Its about to drive me crazy. These are ARP bolts, Hedman LT and Brodix heads. I've already had to repair the threads on the heads.

Are your headers new or used? Are you trying to tighten down the bolts one at a time, or can you get them all started with just a couple of threads?

you need to pull the headers and file the holes a little bigger, use a round file, shouldn't take long at all, just make them slightly oval in shape.

They are brand new. Its a mute point now, I got the passenger side snugged down and I just need to find a missing bolt to finish the drivers side. They look pretty good. I have 7.5" of ground clearance. They are tucked up in there a lot better than I was thinking they were going to.

Re: Hedman LT install
The headers themselves aren't the ground clearance problem with longtubes, it's the rest of the system to get around the frame rails and crossmember.
