ok my friend has some cast headers off a 90 truck that had a 350, the dont have all the smog lines, i want to use them will the bolt right up to my 305?
i do have a welder if the can be made to fit. i just figure they must flow better and look cleaner without the smog crap

 

They will bolt to your engine but they wont fit in your car. You need thirdgen specific headers.

 

clearance or not the right length to reach the y pipe?

They *MIGHT* fit, but dont count on it

$'s to donuts the y-pipe won't even be close to mating.
