Direct bolt-in hi-flo cat

My cat is horribly clogged and I want to get a high flow cat. Is there one that is made specifically for our cars? And will it bolt-in without ANY problems or modifications? If so where would I find one? I may just gut it for the time being...if I can get the damn thing off. But I would still just like to get a new hi-flo.

Also does anyone know of a good single pipe system? The cat and everything back. Keep in mind I have a V6 so one that will make it sound a little better would be nice, since the motor wont give me that sound like a V8 would. I dont want to stick a system on my car that would be great for a V8 but makes mine sound like s*** above 3k rpm.

Thanks for any info!

On the left margin, under "Shop", click on the "Departments" link. In the center of that page, use the "Make & Model Search" pull-down menus to put in the information on your car. When that is complete, select your engine size, then "GM V6", then "Exhaust". Then you can select "Catalytic Converters", find a direct fit (disregard the pictures - they are representative, no necessarily the exact p/n they are displaying). Both of those are high flow. After you have figured out what you want there, go back and select "Exhaust Systems" this time, and you'll see what they offer for that.

Those parts would all be good for your car.

Re: Direct bolt-in hi-flo cat

Is this a hi-flo cat? It says its a direct OEM replacement. If Im goin to buy one I figure it might as well be a hi-flo. I want better than stock performance.

They are all high-flow these days. They don't make the old "low flow" cats anymore.

Re: Direct bolt-in hi-flo cat

Is there a difference between the two cats shown? For the $6 difference is one better than the other? Which would you recommend?
