i have emissions testing here, but it is only one day every 2 years. i dont want to spend $1500 on a full, good flowing, emissions legal exhaust. I was wondering if longtube headers require modification for fitting. I would just dsconnect the y pipe from the manifolds and cat and leave it(manifolds, and y pipe) in my garage and connect them a week before emissions. so what i'm asking is will long tubes fit without mods? i would be running open headers.

 

check out all the stickies on true dual exhaust....there's been hundreds of posts about it. Some people need mods, some don't the posts will show it.
