best headers gaskets
best headers gaskets
What are the best header gaskets to use on third gen F bodies for leak-free and long-life? I frequent Atco raceway every 3 weeks to run and I need a durable set of gaskets. Are copper ones any good?

Re: best headers gaskets
i would say so. they dont blow out and they are soft enough to seal well.
ive heard of some super thick aluminum gaskets that i would look into if i where u.
although i would think copper would be fine if u had a flat sealing surface

Re: best headers gaskets
I have just installed a set of the flotech exhaust gaskets that I picked up from Summitt Racing. They installed pretty easily (though they are thick), and they quiet down any issues in warping. So far, I am happy with them.
