quick simple header question

anything wrong with one of my headers up against my floorpan real hard.

Yeah. It's going to heat up your floorpan. Then your carpeting. Might also cause vibrations. I'd fix it.

Also, if people are going to take the time and effort to respond to you, it'd be nice to see some time and effort in your post.

Its not a 'smart remark' its the truth.


And unless you have solid mounts throughout the car, having the headers AGAINST the floor pan is never a good idea. It'll bang the floor everytime you touch the gas or the car shifts. You will be replacing header gaskets more frequently, and if your car is EFI you'll trigger the knock sensor, making the ECU retard your timing and therefore lowered performance because it thinks the engine is detonating.
