Details:

These polished aluminum-CERAMIC COATED 4-into-1 headers are available for the 1982-1992 V8 Camaro and Firebird. This high luster, Ceramic coating is guaranteed for the life of the headers and will lower under hood temperatures and add an awesome "finishing touch" to your engine compartment. It maintains exhaust temperature and velocity - increasing power.

They are guaranteed to produce more torque and horsepower than any other header with the same tube size and application currently available, up to 25 additional horsepower depending on application. Available in 1-3/4" O.D. primary tube size; we suggest using 1-3/4" tube size for 350 C.I.D. engines. The headers are designed to work with factory A.I.R. systems and catalysts, and may require an SLP installation kit and/or catalyst adapter (1982-1992 only) to complete the installation.

SLP Polished Aluminum-Ceramic Coated Headers:

Polished aluminum-ceramic thermal barrier coating keeps heat in, exhaust velocity up, and underhood temperature down

Re: Exhaust kit

I don't have them but a friend has run them. The SLP 1 3/4" headers are quality pieces from what I have seen. They went in very well and we liked the performance. We ran them on a 400.

They are expensive, so don't buy them unless you plan on keeping them. That means keep the stock manifolds in a box somewhere so that if you have to sell the car, the manifolds can go back on.

Re: Exhaust kit

Bad news.

SLP has discontinued ALL their 3rd gen headers.

If any one knows where else to get 1 3/4" shorties with AIR connections, it would be appreciated.

Re: Exhaust kit

There is a thread called

The Truth Behind F-Body Motorsports but it CAN NOT be accessed anymore for a reason I am unsure of? I read it yesterday and now today I cant even see the post????

It states everything from a previous employer of why youngs F-Body shall never be trusted nor bought from PERIOD.
