Re: Exhaust Opinions
My brother used to have glass packs on his 89 Crown Vic (5.0L V8)... They were like 36 or 40 in long ones... They turned down before the rear axle and what he hit the gas it would set off car alarms all over the place. Also, if you were sitting in the back seat, it felt like a massage on your butt...
Sound very loud, but IMO the tone sounded like crap...
If you want super loud, id say glasspacks or GMMG (there is a guy at my work with GMMG on an LS1 camaro... sounds nice at idle, but when he hits it it is very loud...)
I like my edelbrock RPM, but it is no where near disturbing the peace loud, it is quieter than a flowmaster 80. The the tone is awesome...
Anyways, good luck on your muffler hunt

Re: Exhaust Opinions
glasspacks sound even worse on a v8. do a search on quickflow I posted a link a while back. they sound incredible. the link is to video of an lt1 4th gen on their webpage. should get a similar sound from our cars.

Re: Exhaust Opinions
That is the company name, here is the link to their website:
http://www.gmmginc.net/
Click on the link for their chambered exhaust. The exhaust sounds like a monster at WOT, to loud for my taste, but I do like it's idle.
