All the 3rdgen V8 headers will work. Most will recommend Hooker 2055s or Hedman shorties.

I put the round port shorties on my LT1 third gen. It hasn't leaked yet. Not the best choice since the LT1 is D-port, but eh, it works for now. Hopefully later on I can get a set of long tubes. I'm curious to see if someone did it right, and what they used.

If the flanges are thick enough, you can gasket match all of the square port headers to the LT-1 D port shape. Buy and modify them before coating if you were gonna get coated headers.
Or the very nice 1 3/4 Shorties for 3rd gens that Dyno Don sells are already D-ports out of the box.
Good luck

Right. Dyno Don's will work on the D ports. Very good headers I might add.
Re: LT1 swap in 3rd gen, Header options??
Is it possible to run the LT1 Kooks headers (especially with an aftermarket K-Member) or will they not fit without heavy modification? I mean, I know 4th-gen headers don't fit, but I'd like a stainless header bigger than just 1-3/4" and a stepped header is good for velocity and bolt-on simplicity. I haven't seen one way or the other whether or not the Kooks fit/don't fit.

I used the ceramic coated SLP"s. The primaries were pretty large and they fit pretty well too. They were costly: around $750
