finally pics of the 1 3/4 dougs Lt header install

Well here they are. I know some people were interested to see how they went in. I can answer any install questions since I went through anything that could have happened. I also have a video of the sound of the headers with no exhaust. lol I got the y-pipe installed today and my local shop did great work.

Heres the link to al the pics of the install I got.

I will get some to show you. It has good ground clearance. All the other clearances is tight though.

Very good choice... I have been running long tubes on over 10 camaro's I have owned, and Dougs is the best bang for your buck!!

Basically the EXACT same thing as the Hooker Super Comps, just $200 cheaper

Re: finally pics of the 1 3/4 dougs Lt header install

glad i came upon this thread because i'm the process of purchasing a slightly used set of those SAME hedders and I was wondering how they fit and how much of a pain in the a$$ or not they were to install, will it clear the stock starter on the pass. side? Is the #8 cylinder primary tube a "slip tube" pipe?...I was told this by the guy i'm buying them from, kowboy59 could you verify that for me please?

Re: finally pics of the 1 3/4 dougs Lt header install

yes they hae the #8 slip. Also it is a very nice tight slip on. Everything is a tight fit. Best way is to come in from the top on the passenger side and the bottom for the driver side. I like them alot and the sound is great. I bought an lt1 starter because I saw that it was going to be ay too hard to fit it all.

Re: finally pics of the 1 3/4 dougs Lt header install

good ones. lol thats all I can say. I installed an tpis afpr, tpis airfoil, ported upper plenum, and the headers all at once. I have much more throttle response and upper rpm power than before. its amazing. lol now im savin just a tad more for heads, cam, the miniram intake, built tranny, custom tune, and some wide rims. cant wait
