y-pipe question

hey guys, i have a 305 with headers, no idea what kind of headers they are, but i need a y-pipe for them to a single cat set up.

im not looking to spend a lot of money as they will be pulled off and replaced with a T70 turbo in the next few months. In the mean time i need an exhaust.

so can i just buy any 3rd gen y-pipe and bolt it up, or do i need a certain y-pipe for my headers?

thanks

Usually a certain y-pipe for certain headers, what kind of flange does it have?

Do you have emission tubes or not?

Probably Hooker or Hedman. A y-pipe would be available, but over $150. However, that's probably what a shop would charge you (or more), depending upon what you needed and what they did.

Canada?

The first one is 3-bolt flange, the 2nd ball & socket (to the collectors).

Guess it's slightly less than $150 (before shipping, anyway).

Only if they're Hedman shorties. If they're Hooker, they should have a tag welded on the #1 primary tube.
