on my daily, ive just installed a pair of JEGS shorty headers. i was wondering id the Hedman Y-Pipe for shorty headers would be compatible with these headers? if not, what are my options, short of making a custom Y-Pipe?

Are the headman headers just like standard shorty headers?

 

Typically you have to buy the matching y pipe for the headers. Every header is different. I would say get a custom pipe done or see if Jegs sells a y pipe. That is unless the Jegs headers are actually Headman's. Jegs and Summit sales other brands with their name on it only cheaper.
